Campaign Message

The housing crisis is getting worse.

Victoria needs over 1600 new social and affordable homes every year to 2036. Government alone won’t get us there – and with people suffering now, we can’t wait until they do.

We can change this. Stretch your legs, raise your voice, and join the Walk Towards Home.

Together, we’ll show government the need is now, and raise the funds to invite some of Melbourne’s most vulnerable people home.

Graphic Elements

The Walk Towards Home campaign uses the arrow shape to help convey the idea of direction towards a safe home and the physical challenge of the walk.

The arrow element can be used across collateral to create energy and momentum. It can also be used as a framing device for images.

Colour

The Walk Towards Home brand palette sits within the over arching Servants branding. The red from the secondary colour palette and the cream a tint of the yellow. The red is vibrant and energetic, with the yellow tint providing some warmth and optimism. The off white can be used as a background element to add another level of energy where appropriate.

When using the Walk Towards Home brand, it must be reproduced in the brand colours as shown.

Colour Formats

CMYK – Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black

Hex 
Hexadecimal colors are the visual language of the web.

Cream should be used predominately as the main block background colour, with red used as the logo and supporting text.

Typography

Alongside the bold branding lock up a supporting google font DM Sans, recommended for use across all mediums in order to retain brand consistency. It is clear and accessible, but still with enough character to be approachable and fresh.

DM Sans Regular is the primary supporting typeface.

Photography

The Walk Towards Home brand imagery should be optimistic, engaging, connected and human centred, with close up faces, smiling laughing.

Imagery should not be overly posed, dark or moody,  or use images of low quality.
