Welcome

Welcome to the PLAN: Day of the Girl brand site.

Use this page to guide you on the correct application of the campaign.

This brand guide and toolkit will continue to be updated as the campaign is rolled out.

Campaign narrative

The International Day of the Girls presents an opportunity to shine a light on the needs and challenges faced by girls globally.

It is currently forecast to take over 130 years for the world to reach gender equality. This campaign aims to challenge people to not accept this as a given, but to take action through raising awareness and funds, and together to speed up the time it will take to reach parity.

The campaign sits within the ‘Beat the Clock’ campaign, a global brand campaign being piloted in 6 countries during the same period.

Graphic Elements

The IDG 2023 campaign uses recognisable symbols of time, fast forward and countdown to help convey the messaging.

The fast forward element can be used across collateral to create energy and momentum. It can also be used as a framing device for images.
