The following concept is inspired by the idea of a joyful adventure.

The Astelier word mark, is bold but with a human element that hints at the hands on artisan approach. The mark above the A further plays into the idea of creative energy and joy and mark making as a form of artistic expression.

The brand was also inspired by Italian summers and family dinners as and example of inclusivity and the celebration of life.

This can be used for any primary contact with the brand – for example, on formal documents and letterheads.

The Astelier brand has alternate logo lockups to aid in brand versatility and brand extension.

Note: When production limitations prevent the use of colour, the mono version should be used.

The logo should only be reproduced from master files and should never be recreated, amended or altered.

When applying any form of the logo, it is very important the Astelier logo has clear space around it, whatever the application and whatever the size. This space is equal to the height of the ‘A’ of the Astelier logo.

x  DO NOT use the logo in colours other
than the brand palette.

x  DO NOT apply effects to the logo.

EPS files are the preferred file format for print, because they are vector-based files they are scalable and generally provide the best reproduction. They should be used on all professionally printed pieces.

PNG files are most often used in digital media, such as web and PowerPoint. They have transparent backgrounds, so they are a good choice for non-white backgrounds.

SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) is a web friendly vector file format.

The Astelier brand also has supporting elements inspired by Matisse and cut paper bringing energy and playfulness to the brand.

A traditionally inspired supporting font has been used to add an educated and trusted personality.

Timezone Regular is Astelier’s primary typeface, for use in headings and pull quotes.

Public Sans is the body copy font for large volumes of text.

The colour palette is fun but sophisticated and can be pared back for more formal applications.
